The reviews for the H20flo Steam Mop Floor Cleaner are the very mixed. Out of 139 reviews online 92 people gave this product a 4 star or a 5 star rating. 5 people came in right in the middle and gave it a 3 star rating. And 42 of the reviewers gave this product either a 2 or 1 star rating.
There are a lot of positive reviews with people singing its praises and seemingly overjoyed with their purchase but there are also a lot of other people with the exact opposite opinion. The positive reviewers have a lot of great things to say about this product and are calling it “the best” and saying that they have “a floor you could eat off of”. Some of the reviewers have purchased multiple steam mops over the years and claim that this is the best one they’ve ever had.
Although there are quite a few people that have good things to say about the H20flo you simply cannot ignore the fact that over 30% of the reviewers gave this product either a 2 star or a 1 star rating. Many times when there are a lot of positive reviews for product and only a few negative reviews and the negative reviewers are saying that the product never worked properly you can assume that they received a defective unit. However with the sheer number of negative reviews for this product there seems to be an awful lot of defect of units out there.
According to our research it seems like purchasing this product is a gamble. You can take your chances and you may end up with the best steam mop available or you might end up with a product that will never work properly. I wouldn’t take the chance when there are so many other options available and we would recommend looking at some of the other options.
I have had my H2O steam mop for less than a year and I am replacing it. I have had problems with the heating unit not working and only water comes out or no water comes out at all. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t. My mom had the same mop and had to replace it because a part broke. She has also had a Shark and the handle broke after about a year. We are trying to find one that will last us both longer than a year. Maybe we are just hard on our mops but they should make a quality product. I’m not sure what’s with the weak handles.

I agree with you. I love the steam mop but it seems so fragile. I bought a h2o mop about three years ago. I had a same problem after a year. Steam wasn’t coming out!
I used vinegar with water and it usually started working again but finally it stopped working two months ago! Arrgggg. I like the steam mop. It does a great job, in fact.my sister is getting me another steam mop Christmas, but it has been a bit frustrating every time something was not working.

i have just thrown away my second h20 mop. Worked great for a while – 1st one completely blew up cutting off my power etc – then the 2nd one stopped steaming when my son knocked it over. im looking into a different brand now but its hard inding something to give me a streak free finish on my shiny white tiles.

I have to agree with all of you. I’ve had my H2O for a while but all the sudden it just quit working. The element/heater is getting warm, it just stopped putting out steam. I can’t understand what happened to it all the sudden.
I’ve been looking at all the different brands out there and haven’t decided which one to choose yet..Eureka, Dirt Devil or Bissell..I don’t know. It’s unfortunately because I LOVED my steam mop!!
